Charming! I love the basements so many of your starter houses have.

My sims gaming journal. Not very informative.

Hi there, I really like you house, they're not over the top like others and more realistic. However when I download them I find that the ones with the basements they have 3/4 of water... how do i avoid this or can I only play them on a certain island. I have all EP's, Cheers Maena.

maenamay,

if your basement is flooded, you need to move the lot up a hill. The game has a ground water level, and sim basements aren't waterproof.

Wow! This one is my fav of the 3 newbies. Lots of space, a basement and it has a distinctive layout. Thanks,

This is a fantastic starter, it's the perfect size. I hate having to move out of houses when my couples have a few kids but aren't really financially stable yet... this house can fit 4 or 5 Sims pretty comfortably I think

Yeah, I'd love to know how you do that with your roofs. Also, I've downloaded a few of your starter homes and I love them!

EDIT: I've found how to have roofs with different angles from Seasons on. You just have to use this cheat "individualroofslopeangle <N>". So say you have a roof that you want to have an angle of 30 type in "individualroofslopeangle 30" (without quotations), hold down Ctrl and Alt and click on the chosen roof. (You have to be using the roof placing tool for this to work)
