Okay, now that I know everyone is on the same page with this set:

As I was working on the Keep I began to wonder how the larger population, the peasants,serfs, etc. would live.

So I looked at all the objects maxis had made, and the objects and recolors I had downloaded. Much of it is too, nice or too smooth, etc. for the hardscrabble existence Eurpoean peasants would have had. . . so I made some.

These are recolors of maxis objects, recolored by me using Wizards of SimPE and Sims2 Homecarfters.

I wanted wood that looked kind of abused, worn, cracked, weathered and rough hewn.

So I came up with three types of wood that is used in every piece of furniture:
  • old & abused
  • bleached & weathered
  • cracked & weathered
