Description
This cake stand has been half finished in my projects folder for quite some time now so I thought I best get it finished up and shared with you all.
It's basically a decorative display that has a medium sized slot under the glass dome so that you can display your Sims' culinary creations. I wanted to make it originally so that I could have something to display my baker's produce on in her shop.

Info
The mesh originally comes from Get Together but I have cleared out the deco food that was attached to it to make it functional.

It comes in a total of 11 colour choices.

It can be found under Surfaces > Displays or Surfaces > Misc. for a cost of 100 simoleons.
It should also be available under the Bar, Cafe and Retail Venue sort.

There are TWO versions available for download. This bit is important.
In the zip are two files. One labelled "BG" the other labelled "GTW". You can have only ONE in your game.
Use the "BG" version if you DO NOT own Get To Work.
Use the "GTW" version if you DO own Get To Work. This will allow the stand to extend the shelf life of food placed in it as can be seen in the screenshot.
If you put both files in together they will conflict with each other.

Notes
There is a known EA bug that causes objects slotted onto objects that are slotted onto other objects (in this case food slotted to the cake stand which is slotted to a surface) to throw their contents into the household inventory when the Lot is loaded.
There is an EA Answers HQ thread where you can Me Too the problem here> https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Repor...r/td-p/10539735

The glass won't get in the way of placing or grabbing items in the stand. It won't stop Sims interacting with the food either.

These stands can be stacked on top of each other. It serves no purpose but looks kind of neat.

Updated 22/06/18: The glass should now show correctly for all Mac and PC players. If you were not experiencing issues then you do not need to get the updated files.
