I saw this pic for a kaftan but no mention of the instrument pictured. I want it. Is there a download for it somewhere? It doesn't have to be playable.

I found a lute but I had to also download some hack for it to work which may or may not have worked after a particular EP. I found other lutes but either the link no longer works or it requires Dropbox (which I hate) or, in one case, I hated the stand it was on - it just didn't look right.
So a decorative one would be fine. Does it exist?

Can you link to the ones you found so we don't double up?

Theres a posebox here that has a bunch of accessories including a few Lutes, dunno if they will be grouped into the deco category or not, but might be worth a look? http://blueheavensims.blogspot.co.nz/2016/07/merrie-minstrels-posebox-with-unique.html

Thanks for looking. Yeah I shoulda mentioned what I'd found already.
I saw those at blueheavensims. I found a "pipa" and some other Asian lute but I saw they were high poly. Also found one at CrispsandKerosene http://crispsandkerosene.tumblr.com/post/151908341767/crispsandkerosene-conversions-of-the-tsm-lutes but it needed that hack which I didn't understand. The download was through Dropbox. Also lute and recoloured stand (eg http://www.medievalsims.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=111&t=1219) but call me fussy - didn't like the stand - seemed oversized for the small instrument.
Cheers.

There this one from the Ninth Wave http://www.theninthwavesims.com/2011/04/sims-2-playable-medieval-mandolin.html
Some here from ATS2 http://sims2.aroundthesims3.com/objects/hobbies_music_004.html

I thought maybe the one in the pic came from one of Kativip Legend series sets, but I couldnt see it in any, not that everything is always pictured so you never know!, May want to download and wade through,it all but then could also be a large task for nothing!

Thanks for that. I scrolled through the lot and clicked to see the sets but couldn't see anything that might include a musical instrument (the Middle Eastern one had no pic or mention of one even in the list of files downloaded). Aggravatingly, I saw the above pictured instrument at medievalsmithy too.

Again no mention is made of the instrument, even in the comments.

Didn't see it in Lama's list.
I ended up downloading CrispsandKerosene's lute without the hack.

I don't care if it doesn't work. Decorative only is good. Thanks for your help ekrubynaffit.

Lama directed me to Vitasims for the top-pictured instrument.

Btw, where did you find the dress in your picture?

I saw it at Plumb bob keep. However, pics there are photofucketed on my tablet so I can't confirm, but there is a link from affinity as well as versions there
http://affinitysims.com/files/file/2240-changelings-elenas-kaftan-rio-sims-2/

Edit: back on the PC and yes http://www.medievalsims.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=226&t=5376 is the link to Plumb Bob Keep version (which I prefer). If you can't see the pics, the download button is on the fifth post and includes shorter kaftans and a belly-dance outfit.

Thanks! Photobucketing was inhibiting my ability to search via picture.

The outfits are for teens and children too.
Here's pics of bellydance and shorter kaftans.

I use Mozilla as my browser and have a photobucket add-on which shows the pics.

Yeah, looks like Edge is the only browser still without that feature. DX
