Let's start a playlist:

Track One: O Caritas (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4625W-qXI0o) by Cat Stevens

Track Two: Share the End (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utBw5kMN4co) by Carly Simon

I had iTunes on shuffle earlier, and these three songs played:

Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CnQ8N1KacJc) by Green Day.

No Tomorrow (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DaSk0n4H7E) by Orson.

Tomorrow's Just Another Day (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSlHSq3cFAg) by Madness.

I hope it's not a sign.

^Good call on the R.E.M song, listening to it now!
No apocalyptic playlist would be complete without:

The Final Countdown (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jK-NcRmVcw) by Europe.

And a slightly more upbeat song:
We Will Become Silhouettes (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rKC7ElkTUQ) by The Postal Service.

21st Dec 2012, 1:21 AM
The End (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDN9y2vTdUs) -The Doors (1967) also Apocalypse Now Intro

21st Dec 2012, 1:22 AM
Binding of Isaac - Satan's Theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sWPWGk0wvcg)

If I'm going to go out, I want to go out listening to this. It's a pretty kickass theme song. :)

We'll meet again (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-gb0mxcpPOU)

An absolute classic, accompanied by an absolute - and so appropriate - classic of a movie.

21st Dec 2012, 1:41 AM
The Sky is Falling (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CoqDRe2zz_U) by Owsley.

The End (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PqAP5ZA2Lkg) by Pearl Jam. If I had to go out to a song I think this might be it.

21st Dec 2012, 2:08 AM
Spirit In The Sky - Norman Greenbaum but the audio was horrible so here's the cover version from doctors and the medics from 1986 Spirit In The Sky (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1FvGpzYTS6w)

21st Dec 2012, 6:59 AM
Sinner Man (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6_BWNzThJY) - it's an old folk song, but I especially love this version. I don't know if it's about the end of the world or not, but it sounds like it given there is talk of the sea boiling and this guy is running around everywhere looking for some sort of relief. It's pretty confusing.

The best song. I happen to like it, hence I bought it.

Don't judge me.

I'd say 1999 by Prince fits. Even though they thought the end of the world would happen in 2000 in the 80's it was still about the end of the world.

Pffft... I listened to this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBR2G-iI3-I) when transitioning from 20th to 21st.

I quite favour this cheery little song: We Will All Go Together When We Go (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TIoBrob3bjI) by Tom Lehrer

21st Dec 2012, 3:07 PM
No One On Earth (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03Vtjnxoej4) by Above & Beyond (with vocals of zoe johnston)
