Well it's been far too long since Kathy Bates really had a big career changing moment, and I'm thrilled to say that Harry's Law is one of those. To me, Kathy is such an amazingly skilled actress. In my opinion equal to Meryl Streep in acting capability, but not as recognized because possibly her weight. I've been a long time follower of Kathy from the early days and remember my first Kathy Bates film, Come Back To The 5 and Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean. Then Misery came along, which I loved, and was so glad that she won her Oscar for that role. Now Kathy was nominated for an Emmy for Harry's Law but didn't win ( ) I guess it's just as good to be nominated as they say. Sadly, Harry's Law was cancelled after only 2 Seasons. I'm hoping that NBC will see the error of their ways and pick it back up again, because it really is a gem. If not, Kathy will have another big comeback I'm sure, she'll never stop doing what she loves most - acting.
