View Full Version : Object placement for base game compatible objects

I have created solar panels for the roof. The only roof decorations that I could find to clone came with BV. I would like to make them base game compatible. Does anyone know if there is a way to make base game cloned objects placeable on the roof? If so what would I have to change and would I just make it so it matches the BV cloned files? I am guessing it is something in the OBJD files, but I'm not sure. Or is it just as simple as cloning a base game object and replacing the mesh and stuff? Any help with this would be greatly appriciated, because people without BV would like to use them too.

Edit: Ok, I read Numenor's tutorial on object placement and now know what to change. Does anyone know what the opcode is or if there is one for roof placement. I can't find one in the pop up instruction wizard. Or maybe this is just an option that comes with BV and doesn't work with base game objects.
