Hey everyone:

Just wondering, is it possible to combine two seperate CRES files into one, or can a package handle 2 CRES files?

Just wondering :D

Thanks

There's no CRES merger - if you want to combine some nodes from different CRES (like, add skeleton from one CRES to another), you have to manually add and link the nodes that you want to add.
A package can have 2 CRES, but they likely wouldn't be used at the same time - usually they represent different states of object.

Hi Jasana:

Thanks for the info, I didn't think having two CRES files would work, as I did try that alreay and it didn't work......lol

I did also try it manually, but with no succuess. I'm just wondering then how you know which nodes to add and how to link them. I'm not sure if there is a tutorial out there on this.

Thanks

I guess the main source of info would be Modding InfoCenter article about CRES (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=84487).
Or, if you really want to add the joints, you should check Echo's newest tutorial about adding skeleton to object (http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=270622).
In general, it depends on what you want to add. Different types of nodes have different important fields.
