I am building this house and its not going to be perfect untill i get the roof windows right. To explain my problem i did some pictures as i dont know the specific english word for that part of the roof that is bugging me.

This is how it looks like now:

And this is how i would like it to be:

I tried to make a partially transparent wallpaper, but no matter what i do it allways turn up black in my game.
Then i tried using a greenhouse, but i am all out of ideas when it comes to placing standard rooftiles on the sloped part of the roof.
I was thinking about creating windows with the right angle but then i wont be able to use them when i build a house that is 1 square wider than this one as the angle changes. And to be honest i dont think i have the psychologic strength to make them only to find out that their transparency disappears when i place them with a move_objects on cheat. *sigh*
Please help me with ideas on what to do as im all out myself.

Thanks

Transparent walls aren't possible - sadly
However if you create windows or have some downloaded that fits under the roof like shown in pic #2, why not delete the wall part and place the windows using the moveobjects on cheat, then you shouldn't be getting a tansparency issue, and since you don't use the 2nd level for anything it shouldn't bother when playing(Seasons weather problems) ;)

You could use the sloping windows that come with OFB and use the roofslopeangle cheat to make the roof fit them.

I have no clue about this, but would it be possible to "merge" the script of the greenhouse with the roofing script? I have never fiddled with scripts before other than altering the neighbourhood cameras settings but perhaps someone would know?

Inge: I find the sloping windows that come with OFB far too steep. It just dont look right. thanks anyway :)

Frillen: Ive searched everywhere for windows like that and havent found any yet. Yes i have considered making one myself, but im a clown at meshing :S Only thing I ever did was an endtable and I couldnt even place the legs right...it became all wobbly. :D
